REIV market snapshot – September 27, 2018

A CLEARANCE rate of 57 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 57 per cent the week before and 74 per cent the same week last year.

There were 801 auctions reported to the REIV, with 455 selling and 346 being passed in, 185 of those on a vendor bid.

Glen Huntly continues to perform well in the auction space, recording 60 sales to date this year compared with 47 at this time last year and a well above average clearance rate of 81 per cent.

Hayden Real Estate Torquay sold a one-bedroom apartment at 6/20 Spring Street Torquay for $394,000 and One Agency Torquay sold 75 Spring Valley Drive Torquay for $905,000.
