Stu Baker’s new financial tome is on the money

June 6, 2018 BY

Easy Money author Stu Baker hopes his book will enable everyday people to automate their finances so they are able to secure their financial future.

Local wealth manager and business owner Stuart Baker has released a finance book, Easy Money: The Secret Path to Automated Riches in the 21st Century.

After growing up in Colac, he moved to the Surf Coast for a seachange, to enjoy the surf and be a part of a small supportive community.

One of his first financial goals was to own a Porsche. After 15 years of entrepreneurship, failure and success, he finally purchased his own Porsche and attributes the financial management his parents instilled in him when he was young as a huge part in this achievement.

Since then, Mr Baker has owned, operated and sold many successful businesses and has proudly been involved in many community sporting clubs and events.

He said that his parents didn’t have a lot of money but taught him about working hard, the principle of saving and to live within your means.

“Finances are something that cause a lot of stress on people and their relationships. Easy Money is a book that I hope couples and families can read to be empowered with knowledge and financial comfort.

“What I hope to achieve with this book is to enable everyday people to automate their finances and to not be worried about their financial future.

“If you have appropriate financial structures and plans in place, you will reach your goals much quicker.”

He is well known on the Surf Coast and in Geelong as the director of Yellow Brick Road Geelong & Torquay.

Easy Money has been compared to Scott Pape’s bestselling book The Barefoot Investor and its down-to-earth, no-nonsense approach but with a heavier focus on property.

Yellow Brick Road chair Mark Bouris says that even after more than 30 years in finance, Mr Baker exuded an infectious enthusiasm for bringing no-nonsense, practical advice to everyday Aussies.

The Yellow Brick Road team invite you to the launch of Easy Money at Front Beach Taphouse & Restaurant Torquay on June 22 at 6pm.

A complimentary drink and a copy of the book will be supplied upon entry. Text ‘attending’ to 0459 419 755 to RSVP.
