24 Beard Street, Armstrong Creek vendors Lauren and Cory were thrilled with the $830,000 result achieved by Natural's Jake Equid who facilitated the smooth sale of their home.

Spring has sprung, and with it has come an uplift in the real estate market sentiment as buyers now beginning to see interest rate rises as a thing of the past.

This boost of buyer confidence is backed in by bank forecasts revealing that they are expecting a rate cut in December flowing on to consecutive cuts throughout 2025.

Local agents are seeing this renewed buyer interest first hand with Natural Real Estate making waves this spring, their first selling season under the new Natural brand, with sales already taking off.

In just the past two weeks, the agency has seen a strong turnout at open homes, with 15 properties now under contract as of Monday, October 21st.

Natural director Shaun O’Callaghan’s sale of 48 Riverside Drive Torquay kicked off a great spring run for the agency

Sales consultant Jake Equid noted properties attracting the most attention had distinctive features and were well-priced.

“We have definitely seen a rise in attendance at Opens, some properties have had 15 to 20 inspections in just one week,” he said.

“On the other hand, properties with less interest are often facing stiff competition or pricing issues.”

Agency director Shaun O’Callaghan said Natural Real Estate continued to lead the 3228 postcode, selling more properties than any other agency.

“According to realestate.com.au, of the 175 properties listed in the last six months, 56 were sold by The Naturals, securing their spot at the top.”

“The team also senses a shift in market sentiment with buyers being more engaged in negotiations now, compared to the caution we saw months ago.”

With discussions around potential interest rate cuts, there’s a positive buzz in the Surf Coast market.
