Anglesea Golf Club – April 26, 2018

ON WEDNESDAY April 18 the Men played Stableford. The A Grade and Medal Winner was Peter Babiolakis with 40 points from runner-up Philip Warne with 38 points, on a countback. The B Grade Winner was Wally Karnilowicz with 40 points, from runner-up Luke Cini who scored 39 points. The C Grade Winner was Allan Spence with 37 points from runner-up Peter Hester who scored 36 points. Ball rundown to 37 points on a countback NTP’s: 3rd Rob Steven, 6th Ray Heathcote, 13th Philip Warne and Jackpot 16th Rob Steven.

On Thursday April 19, the Women hosted their guest day and played an Irish 4Ball Stableford. The 2 Members and 2 Guest teams Winners were Louise Crellin, Jane Galbraith, Prue Moodie and Ann Manuell with 85 points. The two members and two guest team runners-up were Sue Gell, Jo Murray, Liz Gleeson and Marilyn John. The Members only/Members and one guest teams Winners were Stefi Bates, Lyn Macvean, Frances Horden and Dot Hermann with 87 points, on a countback from runners-up
Anne Larkin, Julie Gaspari, Jan Buchholz and Anne Macaulay who also scored 87 points. NTPs: 3rd Katrina Valko, 6th Prue Moodie, 13th Ros Holland and 16th Suellen Eskrigge.

On Saturday 21 April 2018 the Men and Women played Stableford, with the Men’s Monthly Medal in conjunction.

The Men’s A Grade Winner was Taine Pearse with 39 points on a countback from runner-up Sam Horne who also scored 39 points. The B Grade, and Medal, winner was Peter Jillard with 41 points. Michael Troup finished runner-up with 39 points. Bruce Harrell won C Grade with 40 points, while Tim Barton finished runner-up with 39 points. Ball rundown to 34 points on countback. Women’s Winner Jenni Inman with 42 points. Ball rundown to 33 points on countback NTP’s: 3rd Henry Green, 6th Jane Millar, 13th Allan Foster and Jackpot 16th Kersten Wrobel with a hole in 1. Congratulations Kersten.

On Sunday April 22 a Men’s and Women’s Par event was played. The Men’s Winner was Tony Leeds with +5. Ball rundown to +3 on countback. The Women’s winner was Sue Caldwell with -1. Ball rundown to -1. NTP’s: 3rd David McLaren, 6th Tony Leeds, 13th Tony Leeds and Jackpot 16th Calvin Robins.
