Anglesea Golf Club – December 28, 2017

ON WEDNESDAY December 20, the Men’s Christmas Break Up took place with a plethora of red shirts on the course.

A four-person team’s event was played with the winners of the day being John Ackland, Peter Caulfield, Sam McKenzie and Graeme Mills with a team score of 11 points. The runners-up were Nigel Forsyth, Peter Rau, Bernie Dilger and Phil Corbet with their score of 108 points.

David Cook, Andrew Daffy, Ian Lewtas and Ian Nancarrow finished 3rd with 107 points.

NTPs – 3rd Greg Aimers, 6th David Goldsmith, 13th Peter Williams and 16th Col Favre. Thanks to Steve, Jason and Ian in the pro Shop for arranging the great prizes for the day.

On Thursday December 21 Men’s and Women’s Stableford was played.

The Women’s winner was Lesley McMaster with 34 points, while Jan Stewart finished runner-up with her score of 33 points.

The Men’s winner was Milo Gelic with 34 points. NTPs – 6th Vida Brenner, 13th Rees Nicholes, 16th Vida Brenner.
