ON Wednesday 20 June the Men played Par. The Men’s A Grade Winner was Paul Brennan with +1 on a countback from runner-up Keith Turner who also had a score of +1. The B Grade Winner was Uwe Morzinek with +5, while Sheamus Sushames finished runner-up with +4. The C Grade Winner was Roger Trevaskis with +4 from runner-up Jack Power with +3, on a countback. Ball rundown to +1 on a countback. NTPs: 3rd Steven Mitchell, 6th Roger Trevaskis, 13th Roger Trevaskis and Jackpot 16th Chucky Smith. Les Cooper played the shot of the day on the 8th, holing out with a 9 iron for an eagle, and claiming the eagle’s nest.

On Thursday 21 June the Women played the Silver Salver Foursomes, with Sue McGibbony and Julie Power winning the day with a score of 74 nett. Noelene Dumbrell and Suellen Eskrigge finished runners-up with their score of 78.5. Ball rundown to 81.5. NTPs: 3rd Ann Stokes, 13th Jackpot Maralyn Cross, 16th Julie Power.

On Saturday 23 June the Men and Women played 4BBB Par. The Men’s Winners were Stuart Johnston and Shane Thompson with +10. The runners-up were Uwe Morzinek and Malcolm Mullins with +9, while Malcolm Titshall and Don Gough finished 3rd with +8, on a countback. Ball rundown to +7 on a countback. The Women’s Winners were Mary Funder and Marianne Frauenfelder with -3. Ball rundown to -3. NTP’s: 3rd Ben Nancarrow, 6th Ben Nancarrow, 13th Tony Speed and Jackpot 16th Tony Speed. On Sunday 24 June a Men’s and Women’s Stableford event was played. The Men’s Winner was David Adamson with 40 points, while Calvin Robbins finished runner-up with 38 points, on a countback. Ball rundown to 36 points on countback. The Women’s winner was Mary Funder with 32 points. Ball rundown to 30 points on countback.
