Anglesea Golf Club – March 15, 2018

ON WEDNESDAY March 7, the Men played Stroke/Monthly Medal – A Grade: Kent Taylor 70 net, B Grade: Brent McDonald 71 net and C Grade + Medal: Max Meade 69 net.

NTPs: 3rd Rob Steven, 6th Merv Worsfold, 13th Greg Davis and Jackpot 16th Geoff Lewtas.

On Thursday March 8, the Women played Stableford – A Grade: Valda Connelly 40 points, B Grade: Jill emerson 37 points on a countback from Nancye Warhurst, and C Grade: Marion Somerset 41 points.

NTPs: Suellen Eskrigge almost scooped the pool claiming NTPs on: 3rd, 6th and 16th and Jill emerson won the jackpot 13th.

On Saturday March 10, our Men and Women played Stableford.

Men’s – A Grade: Frank Funder 44 points, B Grade: Geoff Dean 38 points, C Grade: Jeremy Roberge 42 points. Women’s: Jane Grutzner 39 points. NTPs: 3rd Bernie Stokes, 6th Sam Chisholm, 13th Ben Nancarrow and Jackpot 16th Kevin Friel.

On Sunday March 11, there was individual Men’s and Women’s Par and the Final of the 2018 Mixed Match Play.

Men’s Winners A Grade: Richard Logan +2, B Grade: Richard Grutzner -1, C Grade and Best Score of the Day: Grant Lowry +5, and Women’s Winner: Stefi Bates Sq.

NTPs: 3rd Anthony Ivelja, 6th David McLaren, 13th Stephen Alsop, Jackpot 16th Taine Pearse and Taine Pearse eagled the 18th.

Mixed Match Play Final Results: Linda and Greg Aimers def Colin Foster and Rachel Kane 2-up.

Monday of the long weekend we played Par – Men’s Winner: Keith McLean +6 and Women’s Winner: Anne Chenoweth +4.

NTPs: 3rd Sam Leeds, 6th Graeme Mills, 13th Hugh Pearce and Jackpot 16th Frank Funder.
