Auskickers ready for bounce
THE next generation of AFL legends will be at session of the 2015 Auskick season.
Torquay Auskick begins this Sunday April 10 at 9.30am.
This will be followed by a second session on Sunday April 17 that will be the “Super Clinic”
at Simonds Stadium with the Geelong Cats If players register before Sunday April 10, they will be eligible for four free tickets to an AFL match at the MCG With near enough to 300 budding footballers season is looking to be another successful one for Torquay Auskick.
Torquay Auskick co-ordinator Pete Saw is looking forward to the year ahead.
“We are the biggest Auskick centre in the region and one of the largest in Victoria.
“This has only been achieved through the great work of the volunteers, and is a testament to the quality program that is delivered at Torquay.”
All co-ordinators in Auskick are volunteers, and parental support and assistance is encouraged.
“Auskick is the best pathway into junior football to help teach important skills that football journey.”
Torquay Auskick has partnered with RACV Torquay Resort to assist with the purchase of key equipment and jumpers.
