Aussie Treble to kick off at Bells Beach
THE World Surf League (WSL) and GWM have teamed up on a new tri-event surfing series, which starts at Bells Beach next month.
The two parties have expanded their partnership in 2025 to include the title sponsorship of what will be the GWM Aussie Treble.
Competitors will accumulate points across events at Bells Beach in Victoria, Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast, and Margaret River in Western Australia.
The top-ranked man and woman will drive away in a new GWM Tank 300 after the three events.

WSL Australia Pacific president Andrew Stark said the WSL was excited to be continuing its partnership with GWM.
“Celebrating the standout performers across all three Aussie Championship Tour events is a new initiative and something that wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing and increased support from GWM.
“The WSL would like to thank GWM for continuing to get behind professional surfing in Australia in 2025 and beyond.”
GWM will also continue as the official automotive partner of WSL Australia in 2025.
Head of marketing and communications Steve Maciver said GWM were proud to have strengthened ties with the WSL.
“This sponsorship has allowed us to strengthen our community presence and connect with the broader surfing community at a grassroots level.
“GWM’s record-breaking achievement in 2024 — selling over 45,000 vehicles across Australia and New Zealand — was achieved, in part, by this strong partnership with the WSL”.
The 2025 GWM Aussie Treble kicks off at Bells Beach on April 18 and concludes at Margaret River on May 27.
