BFL home and away season stats leaders
BARWON Heads recruit Damian McMahon made his mark during his first season in the BFL, leading the league in average disposals across the home and away season.
McMahon moved from GFL powerhouse St Marys to the Seagulls in 2025 and has been named as co-head coach for season 2026 alongside Sam Schaller.
The midfielder averaged 34.2 disposals per game, closely followed by Torquay gun Matt Boag on 33.9.
Boag, who is now in his second season with the Tigers since moving across from Newtown & Chilwell, also ranked third in contested possessions (17.3) and second in ranking points for the season (145.5).
Anglesea stalwart Jordan Keras averaged 19.9 contested possessions during the year, with Drysdale’s Ben Fennell averaging 19.4 himself.
Portarlington ruck Scott Greenhough topped the ranking points average for 2025, with 155.6 per game. After Boag in second, fellow Demon Teia Miles came in third, averaging 142.5 a match.
Meanwhile, returning Geelong Amateur Mitch Day has claimed the leading goalkicker award with 69 for the season.
Day returned this season from Lara and was a key contributor to the Ammos claiming the minor premiership. He pulled ahead of Anglesea’s Ayden Gras, who kicked 65 goals in his first season after moving across from St Josephs.
