Cats’ AFLW season over after loss to Crows
THE AFLW season is over for the Geelong Cats, with their slim finals chances dashed with a four-point loss to the Adelaide Crows.
A brave Cats outfit went down 32-28 to the top-four Crows in front of more than 2,200 people at GMHBA Stadium on Friday last week.

The Crows kicked away early in the final stanza through a clutch third goal from Caitlin Gould and managed to stifle Geelong’s offence and hold on.
Cats head coach Daniel Lowther said he was proud of his side’s fight but was disappointed with missing a finals chance.
“It’s a shame. We would have loved to have had a chance to play next week.

“Our girls fought a good fight and it was a good game to watch. We are really proud of our season.”
