Best Round of the Week – New Course Record: Congratulations are in order to our ever-popular trainee professional Tom Jefferies for setting a new course record of 4 under par 68 off the blue markers on Wednesday the 28th. Tom has eclipsed the previous course record holder Deyen Lawson.

Eagles: Adam Veenvliet on the 1st on Sunday. Geoff Goodwin & Doug Parkin combined well for an Eagle on the 14th in Saturday’s Pinehurst.

Congratulations to Judy Scarrott & Pat Malloch in winning the Beatrice Uttley-Moore Final in their 6th attempt over Val White & Jan Brown on the 19th.

Sunday 25/3/18: Mixed S’Ford: 29 Players – Adam Veenvliet (18) had a great run with 42 to outlast Scott Wakeman (20) 40.

Monday 26/3/18: Men S’Ford: 44 Players – Peter Wells (23) won by 1 with a fine score of 41 from Doug Howes (19) 40. Women: 7 Players – Judy Hocking (27) topped the list with 37 from Christina Freeman (43) 35. Green Tees: John Quirk (21) was the best of the 4 with 41.

NTP: 8th – Bryan Cairns, 17th – And Golden Shot winner, Keith Freeman ($46).

Tuesday 27/3/18: Women 9 Holes S’Ford: (Front 9): 40 Players – Georgie Sanders was victorious on C/B with a fine score of 22. Close behind was Gail Weire Griffin also with 22.

Men: Matt Welsh was the best of the 6 players with 21.

Wednesday 28/3/18: Men S’Ford Blue Tees: – 147 Players: A Grade: Tom Jefferies (2) did it for the Lefties with a 4 Under round of 42, with Dennis Biscan (11) following on 39. B Grade: Darren Baensch (18) 38 on C/B from Paul Smelter (20). C Grade: Wayne Closter (24) won by 2 with 40 from Rob Cummings (31) 38.

NTP: 4th – Greg Bishop, 8th – Tom Jefferies, 13th – Darren Pohl, 17th – And Golden Shot Winner, Paul Eddy ($122).

Thursday 29/3/18: – Women Par: 55 Players – A Grade: Barbara Forsyth (24) +2 was a narrow winner from Denise Kelly (14) +1. B Grade: Joan Davey (33) won on C/B with +2 as well from Sue O’Connor (34).

NTP: 4th – Jeanette Moorfoot (Pizza On Madeley), 8th – Sheryl Mackie, 13th Sheryl Mackie– (Yes Said The Seal – Wine), 17th – And Golden Shot Winner, Denise Kelly ($55).

Saturday 31/3/18: Men Pinehurst Foursomes: 144 Players: Great scores were evident today with Travis Kellam & Drew Robertson combining well for 61.375. Next best were Tendai Makuwatsine & Dean Anderson on 62.5 Daryl Luke & Jack Mackie were 3rd with 63.

Women: Judy Scarrott & Ann Davey 71.75; Pat Malloch & Pam Roberts 75.

Mixed: Sue O’Connor & Bernie Ryan 66.75; Heather & Greg Bishop 67.25
