CURLEWIS GOLF CLUB – February 28, 2019

ANOTHER fantastic week of golf has just gone by at Curlewis. Was great to see so many members slashing their handicap with some great scoring.

With the last weeks of daylight saving upon us it is the perfect opportunity to pop out for a few holes after school/work. The course is in perfect conditions and is proving to be a fair test of golf for players of all abilities!

We hope to see you out on course soon! Eagles: Aaron Loats -14th on Sunday. Bruce Sampson -18th on Wednesday.

Sunday February 10: Mixed Stableford – 61 Players. Rory Fitzgerald (31) won by 1 with 43 from Roger Phipps (17).

Monday February 11: Men Stableford: 65 Players – A) Tony Hewitt (10) 40; Sam Loftus (7) 39 C/B. B) Chris Williams (36) won on C/B with 36 from Brian Burton (32). Women: 34 Players– Julie Flintoff (10) 37 C/B from Lisa Pyke (35).

NTP: 8th – Julie Flintoff, 17th – And Golden Shot Winner – Tony Hewitt (1.02m & $82) Tuesday February 12: Women 9 Holes Stableford: 13 Players – Miserable weather saw only 13 women play with Anni Jefferies scoring 21 and Lyn Schofield 20.

Wednesday February 13: Men S’F Aggregate: – 154 Players. Murray Condie and Stan Madden ploughed through the course to score 75. Next best were Michael Hanley and Andrew Green with 74 on C/B from Paul Lazic and Michael Dougall.
NTP: 4th – Mark Holroyd, 8th – Harry Brazil, 13th – Paul Gibson, 17th – Vin Grace. Golden Shot Winner on 17th – Paul Kelly (0.28m & $137).
