Curlewis Golf Club – July 12, 2018
POOR weather and brutal conditions were the theme of the week at Curlewis! The brave players that took on the elements still posted some great scores considering the weather. Not all has been lost however as the members and visitors have been able to practice undercover at our driving range.
Fields were heavily reduced throughout the week, however the course is still in fantastic condition with the new water hazard and bunkering on the 14th hole has been a pleasant addition to the course. Despite some rain the course is extremely is looking and playing superb, credit to course superintendent Rob and his team for all their hard work all year round.
A big congratulations to David Yelland and Glenn Hopgood in winning the CH Malpas 4BBB Final. They were two down early to their opponents Steve McNamara and Eric Fleming but were able to regroup to eventually win two and one in an interesting battle.
