Falcons talent flies high in Vic Country squad

Eight Geelong Falcons players have earned selection for Victoria Country’s opening game of the 2025 Marsh AFL National Championships – U18 Boys.

Hugo Mikunda (Bell Park), Josh Lindsay (Newtown & Chilwell), Rilley Aquilina (St Joseph’s), Jesse Mellor (Geelong West), Ben Rongdit (Colac), and Jett Elek (Lara) will all feature in the squad’s campaign, which begins on Saturday, June 7 against Western Australia.

Jack Pickett (Torquay) and Fletcher Pulleine (St Joseph’s) have also been included in the Vic Country train-on squad and could feature later in the tournament.

The Falcons’ strong representation highlights the depth of talent in the region and the club’s continued impact on the national stage.

Victoria Country will take on Western Australia, South Australia, the Allies and Victoria Metro, with the top-placed team crowned national champion.
