SOUTH Barwon will host East Belmont in a finals-shaping GCA1 clash, as all eight clubs return to one-day clashes to kick-start the second half of the season.

With mere points splitting them, the second-placed Lions will take on the third-placed Swans, with a win crucial for both sides as the ladder sits incredibly tight heading into 2026.

North Geelong will host St Joseph’s as they look to extend their two-match lead on top of the ladder and ultimately defend their title as reigning premiers.

But the Magpies will be well aware of Joeys’ batting firepower, with their best far more impressive than their current spot at sixth on the ladder.

Newtown & Chilwell will look to build on their two-game win streak after a horror start to the season when they face St Peters at Herne Hill Reserve.

The Saints have dropped their last two and can jump back into the top four with a win over the Two Blues, who have salvaged their 0-5 start.

Grovedale will also look to snap a two-game losing streak against Lara and can remain in finals contention with a win.

The Cats currently sit second last but have the same record as the Tigers, indicating how close the competition is.

In the GCA2, Highton will take on Leopold, Geelong West will host Bell Park, Torquay will host Alexander Thomson and Geelong City will take on Bell Post Hill.
