LEOPOLD, NEWCOMB CLUB MILESTONES

IT’S centenary year for Leopold Tennis Club – with Newcomb set to celebrate their 50th anniversary!

Leopold will hold their 100th year function on Sunday, October 7 at the clubrooms, between 1pm and 5pm and all current and past members are cordially invited to attend.

Newcomb’s 50th birthday party is a couple of weeks later, on Saturday, October 20, starting at 7.30pm at their Richard Street clubrooms and it promises to be a big event, where plenty of memories will doubtless be shared and a big crowd expected to attend.

Cost is $10 per person, with finger food provided and drinks at bar prices. With club president and host extraordinaire Peter Kos in the house, it’s absolutely certain that it will be a night of excellent entertainment

Tennis In Geelong’s Phil Hunt is expected to attend both events and there will be feature stories and pictures of the big birthday bashes in the near future.
