Perkins gets podium
Kasey Perkins continues to succeed in hurdles taking away two bronze medals from this year’s Australian Junior Athletics Championship in Sydney.
REPRESENTING Victoria and racing at the bottom age for Under 16 girls, Kasey Perkins has won two bronze medals at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Sydney.
At only 14 years of age, the Torquay track star has come in third for the 200m hurdles and the 4x100m hurdles, respectively.
Kasey also placed 12th in the 90m hurdles after clocking a personal best.
The event, which ran from March 14-18 at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, saw the best talent in Australian track and field compete for their state.
