Portarlington Golf Club – January 25, 2018
EACH year at about this time, we have a contingent of men and women from our club who enter into the Golf Victoria Heart Open. To be eligible, players who have an official Golf Australia handicap must have undergone a heart procedure (open heart, bypass, stents, etc.) This year’s event will be held at the magnificent Woodlands Golf course on Tuesday March 13, with 100 places available, and is all about celebrating life through golf as a competition. Our club has enjoyed enormous success in this event over the past three years with Ron Williams leading the men last year, and Gordon Mainsbridge claiming victory in both of the two previous years. For entry forms and further details, check out the Golf Victoria website.
