Pre-season tune-ups locked in across GFL, BFL, GDFL

LOCAL football is beginning to ramp up, with several practice matches scheduled over the next month for GFL, BFL and GDFL clubs.

Ahead of the three leagues’ official return in April, fixtures include clashes against fellow teams in the area and some interleague-style matches against external metropolitan and country teams.

St Mary’s will host EDFL powerhouse Aberfeldie as they begin their GFL premiership defence campaign.

BFL reigning premiers Anglesea will look to test their ability against South Barwon before hosting EFNL club North Ringwood.

Meanwhile, North Geelong will travel to Windsor Park to take on North Shore in a GDFL battle of the northern suburbs.
