Wednesday Pro-Am
Today’s pro-am was held in still conditions with the greens running at a great pace and the course in the best condition it has been in all year. Our biggest turnout so far in the pro-am, which was great to see.

In the professionals, it was local boy Ben Eccles back from his overseas adventures recording score of the day and equalling his course record when he was just 15 years of age at -9 under par 63. Unlucky Ruben Lal recorded -8 under par 64 in the morning. In the amateur side of the event Dan Shears (24) recorded 41 points and Riley Siketa (-2) recorded 37 points finding some form before their Holden Scramble Final in March. Pete Cottam (6) also recorded a great score of 40 points after being one under the card through 14 holes.

Friday Twilight
Twilight competition was played off the front nine holes today. A solid field played today in ideal conditions, Trevor Wilson (32) took the chocolates with 20 points from Ray Chappell (29) on 18 points. The ball pool ran down to 16 points. In the medley competition Frank Myers (1), the third leg of the Holden Scramble team, recorded 39 points.

Saturday Par
Par for both men and women was played today off the blue and red tees. Again over 100 men took to the course resulting in a three-Grade competition in perfect conditions. In A Grade it was Brian Gilligan (9) with a great score of +3 to beat Paul Allen (3) on +2. In B Grade we had Jeff Treloar (14) record +4 from Ray Robinson (14) on +5. In C Grade Robert Bridgart (26) had +5 from David Jackson (26) on -1. The ball pool ran down to 0. NTP for the day on the 5th went to Peter Brooks, 7th to Colin Thompson, 13th to Phil Ashfield and 17th to Paul Sexton. In the ladies, competition we had some great scores, including today’s winner Marianna Bridgart (22) on +6. Ball Pool ran down to -4 and NTP on the 7th went to Mar g Hales.

Sunday Medley – A Stableford medley competition took place today before the heat kicked in. Winner today was David Alcaide (12) with a great score of 40, from Matt Berry (7) on 39. The ball pool ran down to 36 points.
