Wednesday
THE Men’s competition was Stableford off the Blue Tees. A field of 74 players on the day led to a two-graded comp. In A Grade, it was Philip Eltringham (11) with a good score of 40 points just edging out Geoffrey Proposch (11) on 39 points. In B Grade, Pieter Egberts (17) won on a countback over Richard Metcalf (30), with both players finishing on 40 points. The ball pool ran down to the 36 points. The NTP on the 5th went to Brett Balloch and the 13th went to John McKoy.

Thursday
The Ladies’ competition was Stableford off the Red Tees. The winner was Judi Bullock (24) with a score of 36 points, narrowly beating Marjorie Bayard (22) on 34 points. The ball pool ran down to 31 points, and the NTP for the 5th hole and 13th hole went to Merlene Whitnall.

Saturday
Stableford off the Blue Tees for the Men. A field of 108 players stepped out on the course in hot conditions, leading to three grades for the day. In A Grade, Frank Kevric (4) won on a countback from Peter Cox (20), with both golfers ending the day on 40 points. B Grade was won by Denis Moore (16) on 41 points from Zach Tuohy (11) on 38 points. C Grade saw our largest score of the day, with Trevor Wilson (30) recording 43 points from runner-up Chris Nunan (30) on 34 points. NTP went to Brendan Bourke (0.72m) on the 5th, Paul Barrett (1.60m) on the 7th hole, Riley Siketa (2.40m) on the 13th and Jackson Thurlow (1.88m) on the 17th hole. Ball Pool went down to 33 points.

Ladies competition was played as Stableford off the Red Tees. Today’s winner was Marjorie Bayard (22) who took out the competition with a great score of 42 points.

Sunday
Tough day for golf with high winds blowing and patches of rain passing through all day. The Medley Stableford was played off the White Tees for Men and Gold Tees for the Ladies. Matt Berry (6) won the competition for the day with an overall score of 33 points. The ball pool ran down to 29 points.
