The 2019 winter season has been the Association’s first since taking over competitions from the Surf Coast Shire.
All the junior and senior divisions held their grand finals last week, but Goats’ meeting with Knights was one of the closest.

There were two Under 12 Boys divisions this season. Bellbrae Redbacks won Division 1 after beating Torquay Warriors 39 to 27, while in Division 2 Anglesea Troopers defeated Eagles 30 to 22.
There is plenty of interest in basketball in the region, as the association will be adding Under 14 Girls and Women’s competitions next season.
