Taylor sees sharks home

A MAIDEN A Grade century from Jack Taylor steered Jan Juc to victory in their round 9 clash against Queenscliff at Bob Pettitt reserve.

The sharks were reeling shortly after tea at 7/90 in pursuit of Queenscliff’s 202.

A critical 60-run partnership between Taylor and Andrew Kent (38) gave the sharks a fighting chance but at 9/164 all hope looked lost.

Thankfully Taylor and Lindon Mitchell held their nerve and got the boys home in the 74th over.
