Tennis tournaments cater for all players

CENTRE Court Indoor is running a series of round robin tennis tournaments this year that will cater for players of all standards.

The tournaments are one-day events played indoors with guaranteed play irrespective of the weather.

The series of tournaments is proudly sponsored by Head Tennis, one of the world’s leading tennis companies and the leader in tennis technology.

Head recently released the Tennis Sensor, which is inserted in the handle of the racquet replacing the butt. An app used through a phone or iPad provides the player with a wide range of statistical information about their game.

The five tournaments will take place on March 25, May 27, July 13, September 28 and November 25.

The start time is 8.30am, and age groups comprise 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, and 16 and under – games will all be round robin singles.

The cost is $18 per entry, with every player participating in any event receiving a raffle ticket in the draw for a head tennis racquet and backpack valued at $409.
