Pinehurst (Red) The Sands Torquay Golf Club: American Foursomes: A great day for the ladies today. The winning team today was S Browne (17) & W Muller (19) 75.5, coming in a close second was D Cox (32) & F Hay (40) 76.

Nearest Pin: G Connelly (5th). Nearest Pin: L Reade (13th). The ball pool ran down to 77.3.

Saturday December 1
Men’s Medal – Stroke (Blue), The Sands Torquay Golf Club: Nett: A field of 96 battled the hot and windy conditions today. Winning the round was P Hedley (18) with a score of 66, Coming in a close second was D Chester[23] 67. A great effort in very trying conditions, well done to both of you. Nearest Pin: L Muller (5th). Nearest Pin: M Berry (7th). Nearest Pin:
G Muhlenberg (13th). Nearest Pin: A Makkreel (17th). DSR: 73.0. The ball pool ran down to 75.

Ladies Medal
Very tough conditions today, extremely hot and windy, great effort from all the ladies considering the temperature reached 32 deg. Stroke (Red) The Sands Torquay Golf Club: Nett: A total of 28 ladies playing on the field today. Winning the stoke round was, S Barrett (37) 73, fantastic effort Sue.

Coming in second was J Swain (17) 77. Well played Jan. Nearest Pin: K Lombardi (7th). DSR: 74.0. The ball pool ran down to 78.

Sunday December 2
Stableford (White/Gold Tee), Much cooler today than yesterday’s comp day. Quite windy but a mild 18 degrees. The winner for the day was Sean Lee (28), (Elcho Park Golf Club) with a score of 40 points. Runner up today was Stephen Frost (22), (The SGA Golf Club) with a great score of 40 points also.

Well done to Greg Howell who got an eagle on the 3rd, fantastic effort given the conditions! DSR: 70
