WEDNESDAY December 26
Stableford Medley off the Blue and Red Tees on a very hot and sunny Boxing Day at The Sands. With 60 golfers hitting the course, Michael Yates [5] triumphed, finishing on a massive 44 points. Fantastic effort. Glen Lochhead [15] was close behind on 42 points, earning him the honour of runner up. The ball pool ran down the line to 38 points, with David Jensen (7th Hole, 148cm) and Peter Lamaris (17th hole, 243cm) taking home the nearest to pins.

Saturday December 29
Blue Tee Stableford for the Men in today’s competition. Overcast day with slight showers, but nothing too major to worry about. A total of 140 players hit the course in a three grade competition. In A Grade, it was Pennant captain Calem Hoffmann [1] taking home the choccies over Dean Kitchin [-1] after a c/b with both competitors finishing up on an impressive 40 points. B Grade saw the best scores of the day, with Brendan Bourke [13] closing out his round on an enormous 43 points! Angus McKoy [11] was the unlucky runner up, despite finishing on a massive 42 points. Incredible effort from both golfers. In C Grade, Stuart Perry [22] came out on top on 39 points, with Trevor Wilson [26] the runner up on 36 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 36 points, with Ivan Kevric (5th hole, 0.18m), Mark Eccles (7th hole, 0.90m), Peter Cox (13th hole, 0.27m) & Angus McKoy (17th hole, 0.95m) taking home the nearest to pins on the day.

Red Tee Stableford for the Ladies in today’s competition. It was Susan Browne [17] who came out the winner, finishing on 39 points, one point ahead of runner up Karen Lombardi [24] on 38 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 27 points, and Kerry Bond (7th hole, 7.70m) taking home the nearest to pin.

Sunday December 30
Stableford Medley off White Tees for Men and Gold Tees for Ladies. Beautiful conditions for golf today saw over 215 public players and members on the course. It was Cal Lee (20) taking out the medley with a score of 43 points. Anthony Fagan was the runner up on41points. The ball pool for the day ran down the line to 36 points.

Round 9 of the Black Tee Stableford Series was also held today. Of the 40 golfers to take on the challenge of the Black Tees, it was Simon Piasente (13) coming out the winner with a score of 37 points. Runner up for the day went to Paul Kelly (15) on 37 points . The ball pool ran down the line to 33points.
