WEDNESDAY January 23
Stableford off the Blue Tees for the Men today. 91 keen golfers hit the course in unreal conditions for the three graded competition. In A Grade, Charlie Celi (5) was the winner with a score of 39 points, from Shane McEachran (9) on 38 points.
B Grade saw a hotly contested comp, with Ian Davis (17) coming out on top with a c/b win on 41 points. Dale Allan (14) showed that he hasn’t lost his touch from a long layoff, coming in second place on 41 points. C Grade came down to
the Battle of the Brian’s, with Brian Roberts (29) scoring the day’s highest score of 44 points, from Brian Walsh (23) on 41 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 35 points, with Scott Rixon (5th hole, 0.78m) and Chris Coutts (13th hole, 0.33m) taking home the nearest to pins. Congratulations Charlie Celi (18th hole) and Jack Murdoch (3rd hole & 6th hole) on scoring Eagles today!

Thursday January 24
Red Tee Stableford for the Ladies competition today in quite nice conditions. Diane Cox (30) was crowned the winner for the day, scoring an enormous 45 points! Congratulations Diane. The ball pool ran down the line to 35 points, with Vicki Trethowan (7th hole) and Noelene Bray (17th hole) taking home the nearest to pins.

Saturday January 26
Beautiful weather today for golf. In A grade we had Riley Siketa (+3) record 38 points to hold off Trent Walerys (10) 37 points. In B grade Paul Sexton (11) recorded 42 points from Keith Rixon (20) on 39 points. C grade we had Leighton
Bullock (22) had 34 points, from Lindsay Mann (23) had 31 points. The ball pool went down to 35 points. Austin Swain won the nearest the pin on the 5th hole, Dave Mallet on the 7th hole, Anthony Masters on the 13th hole and Ian O’Brien on the 17th. Congratulations to Jason Dowling for an eagle on the 15th hole.

Sunday January 27
Great weather again today with a large field in the competition. Winner today was Trev Wilson (22) on 39 points, from Mick Sunderland (10) on 39 points. The ball pool today went down to 34 points.
