Wednesday July 10 – Stableford Medley (Blue and Red Tees) (6th Round Winter Classic). Round 6 of the winter classic, and Travis Agg (11), had a day out with a great score of 39 points. Coming in second was Andrew Stephens (10), with 34 points. Competitors were off the blue tees today. Conditions were tough with a heavy course and cold swirling winds with rain coming in from time to time throughout the day. In the Winter Classic we have a new leader with club captain Al Hartley
(11) showing the way on 4750 points from Phil Eltringham (10) quietly going about his business on 4250 points, Phil third on a countback for today’s round.

Thursday July 11 – Stableford Medal (Red Tees). A very wet and windy day on the course, four brave women battled the conditions. Maggie Juniper (33), came out on top with a score of 35 points, coming closely behind was Nolene Bray (31) with
a score of 31 points. Well done ladies, very tough conditions. DSR: 76.0.

Saturday July 13 – Men’s and Women’s Stableford (Blue and Red Tees). Men’s Monthly Medal. Men: Cold, wet and a sometimes-wild day out there for the men as they battled the elements with the rain and wind and heavy course conditions. Breton McDonald [5] battled through the conditions to win A Grade and the Medal with a grinding 35 points. Alan Hartley finished the A Grade Runner up with 34 points. Alan Henderson won B Grade with a very solid 32 points, while Nathan Kerr finished Runner Up with 30 points. Golf Balls to 31 points. Nearest Pin: T Nelson (5th). Nearest Pin: R Siketa (7th). Nearest Pin: S Baum (13th). Nearest Pin: N Trevena (17th). DSR: 73.0. Women: No competition (smart).

Sunday July 14 – Men’s and Women’s Par Medley White/Gold Tees. Fifteen players braved the cold, windy and wet conditions. Brad Evans defied the conditions to return a great score of +1. Visitor Ashley Dormicott also played well to score square. Here’s hoping for better weather this week.
