Wednesday May 8 – Stableford Medley (White & Gold Tees). Windy conditions for today’s competition. Michael Wait (16) won today’s competition on 40 points from Larry Beaton (9) on 39 points on countback, the ball pool went down to 35 points. Nearest the pins went to Charlie Celi (7th) and Gav Sheahan (17th)

Thursday May 9 – Ladies Par (Red Tees). Tough conditions again today, Vicki Trethowan (43) had a good round today on -2 to win the competition, Norma Schultz (35) came second on a countback with -2. Maggie Juniper (5th) and Mandee Trevena (13th) won the nearest the pins.

Saturday May 11 – Men Stableford (Blue Tees) Ladies Stableford (Red Tees). Men – Windy and cold conditions greeted the morning field before the wind dropped and it warmed up in the afternoon. In A Grade, Riley Siketa (-2) recorded a 7 under par round of 41 points to win from Mark Eccles (6) on 39 points. In B grade we had Tim Hester (14) record 39 points to hold off Ron Henderson (13) on 38 points. In C grade, Paul Barrett (33) recorded 39 points from Chris Nunan (25) on 34 points. The ball pool ran down to 35 points on a countback, nearest the pins went to sharpshooting George Richards (5th), speedy Paul Hedley (7th), Alex McMahon save some putts on the 13th and Brian Gilligan (17th). Ladies – Paulette Payne (25) held on better than her beloved Blues to record 34 points and win the competition from Marg Hales (11) on a countback with 34 points. The ball pool went down to 32 points, whilst the nearest the pin went to Christine Brackin (7th).

Sunday May 12 – Stableford Medley (Blue & Red Tees). A small but dedicated field took to the links on Mother’s Day. Janine De Jong (26) was the runaway winner on 38 points from Timothy Eurrell (14) on 34 points. The ball pool went down to 32 points.
