Tuesday Medley 9 holes
A committed field of 11 players tried their luck, but at the end of the day, Diane Cox (30) managed to have the greens mastered and claimed the top spot with 20 points. Elita Klunder (39) posted 17 points in a great effort.

Wednesday (Men’s Stableford)
The warm weather attracted some hot scores with Calem Hoffman (5) narrowly beating George Richards (25) on countback with 40 points. NTPs went to Ivan Kevric on 5, Daryl Yelland on 17 and Alex Harris was the NTP Breast Cancer Charity Hole winner on 7.

Saturday (Men’s Par, Ladies Par)
Tim Freer was our Men’s champion with a cracking +4. Nipping at his heels was Rod Bray, also with +4. The NTPs went to Rod Brooks on 5, Rod Bray on 7, Don Little on 13 and Peter Cottam on 17.

In the Ladies’ competition, Marg Hales made mincemeat of the competition with +5. Following behind was Eva Chappell posting a great score of +1. Eva also won the NTP on 7.

Sunday Stableford
The Sands Guest Day and Black Tee challenge enticed many players out onto the course. Visitor Paul Zele cleaned up the Black Tee competition on a glorious spring afternoon, narrowly defeating local legend Peter Brooks. Both players shot a blistering 36 points. Paul also won the Longest Drive on 11, NTP went to Chris Burke on 17.

Many players made the most of the excellent conditions with some shooting some outstanding scores. Sands phenomenon Colin Chinn took home the chocolates with a cracking 42 points. Trailing behind from Clifton Springs was Warren Binder with a very respectable 40 points.

Sunday Stableford Medley
DRS 74 for red and 71 on white; 42 players. Colin Chinn (14) is on a roll, taking out a few recent competitions, not to mention today’s challenge. Colin put up 42 points to claim top dog in the Medley followed by Warren Binder (6) with an impressive 40 points.
