Par off the Blue Tees for the Men today. 70 golfers were out on the course, making it a two graded competition in nice conditions. In A Grade, it was David Jensen [13] coming out the winner with +1 over Richard Hammett [9] who finished on 0. B Grade saw Trevor Westacott [35] win on c/b over Gavan Clark [14], with both competitors finishing up on 0. Nearest to pins on the day went to Bob Brackin (7th hole, 6.80m) and Matthew Chalmers (17th hole, 3.59m). The ball pool ran down the line to -3.
Thursday September 6
Stroke off the Red Tees for the Ladies in the Monthly Medal. In windy conditions, it was Maree Greenham [45] who came out on top with a great score of Nett 79. Runner up was Christine Brackin [23] who ended her round on Nett 84. Nearest to pins on the day went to Maree Greenham (7th hole) and Christine Brackin (17th hole).
Saturday September 8
Stableford off the Blue Tees for the Men today. 96 entrants in today’s three graded competition, with the sun shining and wind blowing. In A Grade, it was John McKoy [9] finishing up with the best score of the day, 41 points, making him the winner. Runner up was Charlie Celi [8] who was close behind on 39 points. In B Grade, it was a tight contest with Shane Collins [13] on 37 points pipping John Eddington [19] who closed out his round on 36 points. C Grade saw Dale Carroll [23] victorious after posting 38 points, ahead of runner up David Wilson [30] on 36 points. The nearest to pins on the day went to Peter Conquest (5th hole, 0.29m), Frank Kevric (7th hole, 1.04m), John Eddington (13th hole, 1.60m) and Jason Cranny (17th hole, 2.10m). The ball pool ran down the line to 34 points.
Stableford off the Red Tees for the Ladies today. Jan Selvay [30] emerged as the winner today after c/b over Christine Brackin [23], with both ladies finishing their round on 33 points. The nearest to pin went to Linda Turner (17th hole, 7.00m) and the ball pool ran down the line to 32 points.
Sunday September 9
Stableford Medley off the Blue and Red Tees today. In cloudy and windy conditions, it was Greg Potter (34), who best adapted, finishing as the winner on 39 points Craig Willan (13), was the runner up for the day, closing out their round on 39 points also. The ball pool ran down the line to 33 points.
