Torquay Golf Club – January 11, 2018

Tuesday: Margot Bradley in great form at the moment shot another great round of 69, not only taking out the A Grade win, she won this month’s medal. Trish Frost took out B Grade with 71. NTPs Dee Matheson, Cheryl Mostyn, Trudy Bath, Pam Stribley and Dee Matheson hit the jackpot.

Wednesday: Greg Baeck shot an impressive +7 to take out A Grade. B Grade winner Ian Foot had another impressive +7. C Grade winner John Potter also put in a great round of +6. Alan Foss won D Grade with +4. Bruce Harvey had +6 to win the Resort competition. Marina Naughton finished SQ to win the ladies and our men’s guest winner Daniel Nugent had +4. NTPs Dave McPhail, Nick Berryman, Don Jennings, Gary Watson, Michael McLean and Rick Vagoni hit the jackpot.

Friday: Bruce Dyer had a good score of 40 points to win A Grade. B Grade went to Trever Chappell also with 40 points. James Fraser also followed up with 40 points to take out C Grade. Marie Reeves had 35 points to take out the laides and our guest winner was Shane Crowley (Eynesbury GC) with 46 points. NTPs Cheryl Brunt, Ben Willian, Tom Molan and John Brunt hit the jackpot.

Saturday: Due to the hot weather conditions play was called off once temperatures reached 38. The Torquay golf club has a heat policy which is available to read on the front page of the website for all members, it is for the safety of all players that this policy is put into place.

Sunday: Our A Grade winner Bradley Green shot +3. B Grade went to Jeremy Dyer with +5. Brian Makin had a great round of +9 to win C Grade. Ronnie Beacom won the ladies with 0. Our guest winner Richard Dalton had +4. NTPs Ray Morgan, Nankin Russell, Marg Joyner and Denis Cunningham hit the jackpot.

There are also clinics available throughout January, which is always a lot of fun. You can also purchase a gift card from the golf shop to use for lessons.
