Torquay Golf Club – July 19, 2018

TUESDAY Lesley Grebe shot +3 to win A Grade. B Grade winner Vicki Rossiter also had +3. Helen Bloink won the 9-hole competition with +1. NTPs June Ball, Faye Henry-Davies, Gill Patten, Diane Liley and Judy Bell hit the jackpot.

Wednesday the men played stableford and with 38 points Greg Baeck won A Grade. B Grade winner Jayson Moran shot 39 points. Rick Dahlenburg had the score of the day to take out C Grade with 40 points. Alec Hand played a good round off the Resort Tees today shooting 40 points to win. Guest winner was Nicholas Treble (Ocean Grove GC) 36 points. NTPs Andrew Young, Dave McPhail, Andrew Young, Mark Franklin and Rick Dahlenburg hit the jackpot.

Friday Peter Rees shot +4 to take out the A Grade win. B Grade went to Neil Henderson scoring +5. Junior Emma Pearce was the best for the ladies scoring +4. Guest winner Tim Frances (SGA GC) shot +1. NTPs Paul Brunt, Chris Rudd, Lyndsey Dunstan, Bob Hayles and Justin Willis took out the jackpot.

Saturday the men played 4BBB stableford and the winning team of Hugh Thompson and Robert Speakman shot 47 points. Runners up on countback were Rob Templeton and Richard Pekin with 46 points. John McKay and Rob Harding were the unlucky couple that were pipped at the post and ended up in third place and Fourth place went to Andrew Young and Michael McKinnon on 45 points. Resort winners Roy Ball and Ron Hedley had 47 points. Ronnie Beacom took out the ladies stableford competition scoring 35 points. Guest stableford winner was Craig Whitbourne 33 points. NTPs Matthew Stokes, Graham Gill, Ronnie Beacom, Sue Barnes, Ron Hedley, Richard Pekin, Andrew Carr and Barry Hewitt hit the jackpot.

Sunday A Grade winner Ben Thomas had 41 points and B Grade went to David Peterson with 44 points. Vicki Rossiter won the ladies scoring 38 points and guest winner Glen Finley (Howlong CC) had 41 points. NTPs Warren Gaunt, Danielle Walker, John McKay and Rodger Thomas the jackpot.
