Winchelsea claimed the BPCA One Day Competition title with a 52-run win over Wallington in the grand final.

Batting first at Shell Road Reserve on Saturday, Winchelsea posted 10-132 from 39.4 overs, with Cameron Primmer (25), Matthew Tench (23) and James Stephenson (21) leading the way.

Spencer Tattersall led the bowling for Wallington with 3-21 from eight overs, while Matthew Shipsides impressed with 3-9 off four overs.

In reply, Wallington was dismissed for 80 in 32.1 overs. Chris Jackson top-scored with 21, but Winchelsea’s Luke Lenehan starred with 3-16 and two catches to earn player of the match honours. Dean Hampshire claimed 3-17 from seven overs, while Ray Edwards was economical with 2-10 and three maidens.
