Torquay Medical Health and Wellness Clinic’s team is focused on providing accessible healthcare to all Surf Coast residents.

Geelong Medical & Health Group’s Surf Coast centre, Torquay Medical Health and Wellness Clinic, opened at its new Cylinders Drive space at the start of the year, and general manager Durham Green said the centre was quickly meeting the community’e needs.

“The community response has been really good. We have received a lot of positive feedback about the new building and the services that we provide.

The feedback about the building has been really great, but the feedback about our hard-working team has been just as good too.”

The centre offers a range of services including, travel health, skin cancer checks, sexual health, family medicine, chronic disease management, endocrinology, GP acupuncture and diabetes education.

Mr Green believes Torquay Medical Health and Wellness Clinic’s team is among the best.

“We try to structure the business so that people can get bookings in as short a time frame as possible, and also having appointments available on the day to help facilitate people getting same-day and immediate appointments,” he said.

“The team makes every effort to make the experience as seamless as possible for our customers and we feel the community appreciates it.”

Mr Green said optometry be the newest service to be offered at the centre, from the start of July.

“We’re putting the final pieces together to get our optometry unit, Torquay Eye Care, up and running which is really exciting.

“Recent services that we have just been added include our GP Pain Management, Venous Disease (varicose and spider vein treatment) and Interventional Pain Management services.”
