RUTH VAN EEKELEN feels incredibly blessed to have owned Aussie Bellarine for the past 10 years.

Ruth said she was inspired by incredible women such as Grace Tame and Giséle Pelicot. “Their resilience and commitment to making a positive impact reminds me that every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and strength comes from overcoming obstacles with grace and authenticity. This year, my focus is to achieve our business goals, but also to bring fun into our journey. Life is short, and it’s important to balance hard work with moments of play, ensuring our journey is filled with joy and positivity.”

She is proud that Aussie Bellarine is a female-dominated business. “We’re a team of strong, passionate women who bring unique skills, perspectives and energy to the table. The strength of our female-led team is at the heart of everything we do,” Ruth said.

Ruth has mentored several female employees, helping them reach their personal and professional goals. “Watching them grow and thrive has been extremely rewarding and fulfulling,” she said. “Helping them achieve success and shape their futures has been fulfilling, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of their journey. My guiding philosophy is simple: Step into your power and shine your light.”

She is most proud of the sense of community the team has built and is honoured to be part of such a supportive, welcoming community.

“We’ve had the privilege of working with many wonderful individuals and families, and their trust in us is something I am truly grateful for. The relationships I’ve built here have become friendships that mean the world to me,” Ruth said.

Looking ahead, Ruth is excited to continue growing with her clients and to remain deeply connected to the Bellarine community. “We will continue our commitment to treating every person with care, respect and understanding,” she said.
