Ride a wave any time at URBNSURF
Keen to catch those first waves or perhaps even your very first barrel without having to think about swell forecasts, winds and tides?
Look no further than Australia’s first accessible surf park URBNSURF in Melbourne.
Conveniently located five minutes from Melbourne Airport, URBNSURF has hundreds of waves pumping through its lagoon every hour.
The facility has waves for surfers of all levels, with six different settings providing a diverse range of options for attendees.
The Cruiser setting provides easy gentle point-break waves for surfers on bigger boards and those graduating from surfing in the beginner sessions in the bays.
The next level above, Progressive Turns is ideal for those looking to challenge themselves and perhaps work on the transition to intermediate surfing and beyond.
Intermediate sessions provide surfers with the chance to surf medium-sized waves and work on their turns.
The advanced and expert sessions are recommended for strong surfers, and feature head-high waves in a point-break fashion, but with thick and heavy barrelling waves.
URBNSURF chief executive officer Damon Tudor said he looked forward to welcoming a wide range of surfers during the Easter period.
“The Easter long weekend is a busy time for us here at URBNSURF and an awesome time of year to have a go at surfing. We’re looking forward to welcoming surfers of all abilities through our doors.
“So far, bookings are looking great, but there are still slots available for all skill levels and surfers seeking a thrill.
“Whether it be beginner to advanced, guests can score gentle white water or slice through barrelling tubes.”
