THE Mind Your Mouth podcast together with Casuarina Dental is warning about old dental fillings.

In an episode titled Mercury Fillings Could Be Poisoning You, the podcast explores whether cracked or ageing “silver” fillings release mercury vapour that accumulates in the body over time.

It outlines symptoms said to be linked to mercury exposure, including fatigue, brain fog and hormonal imbalance, and cautions that removing fillings incorrectly could worsen exposure.

The episode promotes what it calls “safe removal protocols” and highlights infrared saunas, sweat testing and dietary changes as ways to support detox and recovery.

Mind Your Mouth describes its approach as “science-based awareness,” saying the aim is to inform listeners about oral health and wellbeing rather than create fear.
