A MAJOR new outdoor and lifestyle expo will be held at Lismore Showgrounds as the site continues its push to re-establish itself as a regional events hub.
The Lismore Outdoor Adventure plus Home and Lifestyle Expo will run from August 14 to 16, bringing a large-scale exhibition back to the city.
The three-day event will feature caravans, campers, boats, 4WD vehicles and accessories alongside home improvement and lifestyle displays aimed at local residents and visitors.
It is being delivered by national organiser Australian Events and is expected to attract a broad regional audience.
North Coast National A and I Society president John Gibson said the event signalled growing momentum for the Showgrounds.
“It’s fantastic to see a major outdoor and lifestyle event return to Lismore,” he said.
“The community has always supported these types of events, and bringing something new to the Showgrounds helps reinforce Lismore’s role as a regional events hub.”
He said the expo added to a strengthening calendar of events already confirmed for 2026.
“With events like Primex and LisAmore! moving to the Showgrounds, this expo adds to a strong and growing program that is putting Lismore firmly back on the map for major regional events.”
Australian Events general manager Aly Ryan said the event was designed to appeal to both visitors and exhibitors.
“Lismore is a strong, community-minded region, and this event brings together everything from outdoor adventure and camping to home styling and renovation,” she said.
“We’re looking forward to delivering an event that locals can enjoy and visitors will travel to experience.”
She said the expo would give businesses direct access to an engaged regional market.
“For businesses, this is a highly engaged regional audience with a genuine interest in outdoor living and home improvement.”
The event joins a growing lineup at the Showgrounds including Gemfest, Primex Field Days, Tropical Fruits, Lismore Speedway and LisAmore!, as confidence builds in the site’s ability to host large-scale events.
