LENNOX Head photographer Craig Parry will be featured in the new Chris Hemsworth documentary, set to be released by National Geographic on November 23.
Parry has worked on multiple projects with the Hollywood star over the years and was part of the deeply personal family documentary titled Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember.
The Thor actor, who lives at Byron Bay, took part in a motorcycle trip across Australia with his father Craig, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Some of Parry’s best shots were taken in the Northern Territory, while he also captured the closing drone sequence for the documentary’s official trailer.
“I’ve been part of a few projects with Chris now, this one was special for a lot of reasons,” Parry said.
“It was incredible to be part of, and it will hit home for a lot of people.”
In the documentary, Chris and Craig visit people and places from their shared past, travelling from Melbourne to the Northern Territory.

They explore the scientific impacts behind social connection and reminiscence therapy as methods to stimulate mental activity and how it can evoke memories and improve wellbeing.
The pair are guided by Dr Suraj Samtani, a dementia specialist and clinical psychologist at the University of New South Wales Centre for Healthy Brain Aging.
He worked with producers in collaboration with the Hemsworth family over the course of a year.
“My Dad and I had always spoken about taking a trip back to the Northern Territory, where our family had lived years ago but we had never set aside the time to actually do it,” Hemsworth said.
“More recently, the idea of taking that road trip re-emerged with more pressing importance
“The result was a more profound, more moving and more surprising journey than I ever anticipated.”
The project follows the success of Hemsworth’s Limitless series, one of National Geographic’s most-watched programs.
The documentary will be on the Disney+ and Hulu streaming service from November 24.
