LENNOX Head’S junior surf lifesavers returned from the NSW Surf Life Saving Age Championships with multiple gold medals after a strong four-day campaign at Swansea Belmont.

A squad of 20 represented the club at the state titles, competing against the best junior athletes from across NSW.

Amy Roberts and Miliani Tighe claimed gold in the under-14 female board rescue before combining with Willow Palmer to win the board relay.

“When we turned the cans, we knew we were in contention to medal and it was so exciting,” Miliani said.

Nash Stewart was another standout, winning three gold medals.

He finished first in the under-9 swim race, teamed up with Tully Smith to win the male board event and joined Nash Castel to take gold in the board relay.

Harley Dilger won the under-13 female flags and was part of the team that secured bronze in the beach relay.
