COUNTRY rockers The Wolfe Brothers are booked to play Civic Hall next month, Saturday 16 May.

Fresh from a songwriting tour to Nashville, US, the brothers will be in Ballarat as part of their Australian Made tour that follows the trail of success laid down by their 2023-2024 Livin’ The Dream tour.

This was voted Australian Tour Of The Year at the inaugural Countrytown Awards in March 2025.

The Tassie-based brothers, Tom and Nick Wolfe, who hail from a farm between Hobart and Huonville, come from a long line of musos. “When we come to town we give 110 per cent,” said Tom ahead of their Ballarat stop.

“We are celebrating Australian music and Australian musicians and we just cannot wait to come to town and give you the best we’ve got.”

Delivering high-energy shows to over 100,000 people at festivals last year, they were also busy writing and recording their Australian Made album that debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Australian Album chart and the ARIA Australian Country chart on its release in August.

“The Australian Made concept really came from looking around at our lives and the people we grew up with,” Tom said.

“It’s a reflection of where we are from, the stories, the landscapes, the proud communities and the spirit of Australia.

“We wanted to make a record that felt honest, a record we would be proud of, without overthinking it.”

The success of their Australian Made album also paved the way for the brothers to become the most awarded act at the 2026 Australian Country Music Awards, earning five Golden Guitars.

Lifting their career total to 15 Golden Guitars, these were for Album of the Year, Contemporary Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Collaboration of the Year with Zac and George, and Heritage Song of the Year.

Nick said the band is excited to be touring again with their new show and new album.

“Those couple of hours on stage is where we feel most alive,” he said.

“We don’t take for granted that most people never get to experience playing to a crowd that has lived the songs you have written and sings them back to you. There is no greater feeling”.

Their upcoming Ballarat tour date will also feature special guest Taylor Moss. Tickets at hermaj.com
