LIVE music isn’t the only thing to enjoy about this year’s Summer Sundays concert series at Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

Anyone who gets along can shape the future of the program and go into the draw to win a Ballarat experience worth $2500.

This Sunday 18 January is the third of four in this free seasonal series, and it’s set to feature Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird, Little Guilt, Hemlock Wilde, and the Freya and Tom McGowan duo.

Visitors can complete a short survey to help the City of Ballarat continue to improve the community entertainment offering.

Survey access is only available onsite using QR codes positioned across multiple locations around the grounds.

The survey can be completed on any event day from 3pm to 7pm, and all participants who complete the full survey and provide their contact details will be entered into the prize draw.

Entries close at 8pm on Sunday 25 January, and one winner will be randomly selected by the City of Ballarat on Thursday 29 January.

Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird is among the live music line-up at Summer Sundays this weekend.

The winner will be notified by phone, email and announced on the Summer Sundays website by Friday 30 January, and will then get to choose one prize pack from two options – one designed for adults, and one designed for families – with both featuring local accommodation, dining and attractions.

The survey involves 10 questions and takes roughly five minutes to complete, with strictly one entry per person accepted.

Ballarat mayor Cr Tracey Hargreaves said the new survey gives visitors a chance to influence how the event evolves in the future.

“We’re committed to delivering events that reflect what our community values most, and the insights gathered through this survey will help us continue to grow and refine the Summer Sundays experience,” she said.

“I encourage everyone attending to take a few minutes to complete the survey and go in the draw to win a fantastic prize showcasing some of Ballarat’s best accommodation, food, and attractions.”
