Locally owned and operated, Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry offers more than just your usual café experience.

SHOWCASING the diversity of what this great region has to offer including local produce, wines, boutique beers and great coffee, Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry is a relaxed venue offering a surprising dining experience.

First opening its doors in July 2016 under Jane Miller, Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry offers a touch of fine dining with a busy inner-city metropolitan coffee vibe.

With an ever-changing breakfast and lunch menus, Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry is fully licensed with a wine list showcasing local producers.

There’s also a beautiful retail section stocked with a selection of gourmet food gifts, pantry items and lifestyle products such as Koko Black chocolates, The Unrefined Granola, Phillippa’s Bakery goods, and homewares including Laguiole cutlery and a range of cookbooks.

Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry is now open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights or for a cheeky afternoon wine and cheese, otherwise the venue operates seven days week for coffee, cake, breakfast and lunch.

Head chef Roseann O’Brien – daytime (Lake House and Sault restaurant backgrounds) and Leigh Murphy – nights (l’Espresso), lead a team of eight kitchen staff as well as 12 experienced front of house professionals.

Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry menu changes with the seasons and has been put together by some of Ballarat’s most experienced and respected chefs.

Getting Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry is a breeze, with easy parking and no restrictions and also street access both sides of the property that’s just of Lake Wendouree.

There’s also a private dining room at seats up to 10 to 12 comfortably, meaning Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry is perfict for your next celebration, get together of work function.

Boasting an eclectic business history the venue’s unusually shaped building is situated near the picturesque Lake Wendouree and has recently undergone a major renovation and refurbishment.

Tables are draped with table clothes topped with paper and jars full of crayons to help the little ones and the young at heart to be creative and entertained.
