Ballarat’s masonic Eureka Daylight Lodge, with the support from the Freemasons Foundation Victoria, have presented Headspace Ballarat with a donation of $5000.

Manager of Headspace Ballarat Janelle Johnson said her organisation was grateful for the support, and the money would go towards funding for innovative new programs for 12 to 25 year olds.

Headspace currently provide support and treatment for approximately 4500 young people and their families each year at the Ballarat centre.

The Freemasons Foundation grant will allow the Headspace team to target specific interventions to improve young people’s sleep and emotional capacity, which will allow them to be better able to live their best lives and achieve their goals.
