Remembering the Battle of Britain

BALLARAT’S 425 Squadron of Australian Air Force Cadets were recruited as Catafalque Party for last Sunday’s Battle of Britain Memorial.

Held at the Sebastopol Cenotaph, the five young people raised the New Zealand, Australian and British flags, as the Air Force Association and broader community laid wreaths.

AFA pilot, Stephen Carter flew a World War One vintage Ryan aircraft overhead.
