Gold Diggers lead the way

THE fourteenth annual Victorian Junior Provincial Championships were contested at Daylesford Bowling Club on Wednesday, 15 January in trying conditions.

The event saw had seven regions contesting the Flapper Shield, including Ballarat Gold Diggers, Bendigo Dragons, Central Highlands Rangers, Eastern Eagles, Geelong Giants, Goulburn Valley Devils and the Northern Flyers.

Winning through their sectional play, the Gold Diggers took on the Northern Flyers in what was a tough finish to a very competitive comp.
