Nothing set in Monday Premiers

WITH only one round to go before finals there are still positions on the tables that could change.

PREMIER – There were some surprises with ladder leader BMS defeated by fourth placed Central Wendouree. Buninyong is now top the table, two points ahead of BMS followed by City Oval and Central Wendouree. As City Oval and Central Wendouree meet in the final round, positions could change with Midlands only nine points behind Central Wendouree.

DIVISION 1 – Smeaton defeated ladder leader Victoria in an upset. Victoria still remain in first, well clear of Beaufort who have advanced to second. Smeaton are third followed by Webbcona. Most likely the final four will remain the same as the top teams meet teams below them on the ladder.

DIVISION 2 – The top four has not changed from last week. Linton had a comfortable win over City Oval, Central Wendouree defeated BMS by 34 shots, Learmonth had all rinks up in their defeat of Sebastopol and Smeaton downed Invermay by 16 shots. Daylesford were successful against Midlands by six. Top four is Linton, Smeaton, Learmonth and Central Wendouree.

DIVISION 3 – The top four in this Division are Webbcona, Creswick, Central Wendouree and Victoria.   These positions cannot change as fifth team Smeaton are 19 points behind.

DIVISION 4 – Ballarat North are the dominant team in this division only having one draw, one loss and 15 wins are way clear on top of the ladder. Bungaree Beaufort and Clunes make up the four.   Daylesford and Creswick could still make finals with a win next week.
