Stars come out for North Ballarat Sports Club announcement on new partnership

NORTH Ballarat Sports Club’s annual AFL Grand Final lunch on 26 September will be the setting for the announcement of a unique partnership between the Club and Paralympics Australia.

An innovative and exciting partnership to develop community, education, and sporting programs in Ballarat and the surrounding region.

Ballarat recently honoured five local athletes who have represented Australia at the Paralympic Games with the opening of the Ballarat Paralympic Sports Avenue and this partnership will see the spotlight on Ballarat continue in the lead up to the 2020 Paralympic Games to be held in Tokyo, Japan.

Tickets for the hugely popular annual AFL Grand Final lunch are now on sale and special guests will include Lynne Anderson (CEO Paralympics Australia), and former AFL Legends including Peter Daicos (former Collingwood goal kicking great), Tony Shaw (former Collingwood premiership captain and coach, and current media personality), Mark Williams (former Port Adelaide Premiership coach and, Collingwood and Brisbane Bears player) who will give their expert analysis of the 2019 AFL Grand Final.
